The Gators defense took a big hit Wednesday when Billy Napier announced that linebacker Shemar James would miss the remainder of the season.

Graham Mertz was named to the Davey O’Brien QB Class of 2023 as one of 35 quarterbacks to make the quarterfinal stage for the award.

With the Gators set to debut black jerseys, Billy Napier wants to ensure that fans and players alike do not "lose sight of the intent here."
